How to Animate on scratch. :D Press space to start at first. Writing/lyrics: This is how you animate on scratch. You start off by drawing your shape or figure. Duplicate your drawing and paint your drawing lines a different color then the original. Draw over the, (red), in black or in the color you want to draw in. After you draw with *black, color the screen (red). (Paint bucket) Use the Clear tool to clear the (red) (paint bucket). Now time to Code! Go to Events and drag the 'When Flag Clicked'. To make the costumes work you have to go to Looks and drag out a 'Switch costume to __'. Also go to Control and get a 'Wait _ Seconds' block and a 'Forever' block or 'Repeat _'. Make sure to set the seconds to .3, .2, or .1 It should look like this for 2 costumes. You now have a working transition with drawings! If you want you could, instead of making a slight difference, make a big difference in the drawing adding droplets of movement. Now here's the final piece!
