Say YES to NKLA**! puppy mills are cruel animal facilities which breed tons of puppies for the public, causing lots of overpopulation problems, which overcrowds shelters, causing animals to be put down to make way for new puppies coming in. The only reason why ANY puppy mills are open now is because people sometimes believe store pets are more desirable than shelter pets. NOT TRUE! I have a shelter dog who is now a senior and is the sweetest thing. If you want proof of shelter pets being just fine, look at Li'l BUB, Nala, Ginny, and Tuna! These celebrity pets came from shelters! NKLA: No Kill Los Angeles NKLA is a group effort by volunteers to help make L.A. no kill by 2017. It sounds far fetched, but already they have shut down every single puppy mill in L.A.! Volunteers are massively overacheiving their goals, and if we get our goal, it would mean a significant cultural shift for the ENTIRE COUNTRY. think about that...............
