Mostly based on page 168 "Glacier Race" in Woodcock's "Coding Games in Scratch" Excellent explanations there 1. Note Road moves DOWN (in -y direction) 2. Vertical Stage dimension is 360 (zero at center) 3. So when road 1 moves completely off the stage then it jumps 720 to position it above road 2 which is visible 4. note that he road for the cars to move is empty so the cars are not touching the road sprites unless they hit the sides. The reason he road looks blue is because of the background shining through. 5. The road scripts keep the 2 sprites "attached' to each other as they move down.
