Please read the entire description. Love-it it if you love-it. If you really love it, favorite it as well. ^^ The animation goes along with the poem. Story behind poem: The narrator has someone she loves that has gone to war. She dreams one night that he died in the field, and awakens crying from her dream, determined to get him to leave the military. She then gets a call-While she had been dreaming, her beloved died in battle. He is now in the hands of death. Meaning of the animation: The swaying things are 'grass', golden hues, etc. Basically, she's dreaming of a large, windy field. It also signifies how his loss is 'beating her down'. In the dream, she's hoping fervently, 'It's a dream, It's a dream. ...Is it a dream?' Meaning, she's becoming uncertain as to if it's really happening, even when she wakes up. The hands are, in her dream, where she reaches out to hold his hand. Just as their hands touch, he dies, and fades away.
I'm not quite sure who the song belongs to. I know the poem isn't great, but I don't think it's too terrible, either. Nonetheless, I believe it is clear that poetry isn't one of my strengths. :') Constructive criticism is both appreciated and wished for. This is for @MissFluffyBug 's poetry contest. Feel free to enter here: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/19297582/ Sorry that this isn't a remix. ^^; I'm sorry about the terrible quality of the animation and poem. It's one of my first poems, and my first attempt with vector. The hands and plain were done in vector.
