I'm seeing a lot of misconceptions and panic, so i thought i'd clear some things up. Click the green flag. 1. Net Neutrality is still alive. It is not going anywhere anytime soon. My response: Panic, now, pls, **soon.** I don't care if it's going to be 999 years from now, i'm going to panic, it's going to have to go eventually. 2. Ajit Pai (the man who wanted to repeal net neutrality) has been caught with using votes from dead people or russians. So he will have to defend his actions in court WHILE defending the repeal of net neutrality. My response: good. 3. The net neutrality bill is being passed onto the supreme court because of how much attention it received. This means they will have another vote in a month or so. My Response: Another vote!?!? Nope. What if they will turn on us? You just have so many possibilites, unless you can prove all of them wrong, I'm going to panic, no if ands or buts. 4. Even IF net neutrality got repealed for the time being, it would take action in a year or more. This is because the congress will have to make more laws to support the new system of internet. My Response: welp, a year (if it did take action a year later) is not really too long, so better start panicking now. 5. Nobody is leaving right now. You're all safe on the internet for the time. My Response: people are gonna start leaving soon, so I'm gonna panic. 6. DONT panic. You can still resist or call your congressman, but seeing as most people on here are kids, I just want to advise you all to stay calm. The supreme court will probably look at the ILLEGAL and Tampering with votes (The Ajit Pai did) and decide to keep net neutrality. My Response: okay, i guess. you're NOT fine.
okay people, gather around, it's time to panic!!!! i'm probably gonna get backlashed by the community, so i turn off comments :)
