Just doing a quick experiment in town dynamics. The smooth jazz is sleep away, by the great Bob Acri. Change log: - press b to burn the field and ensure the total end of society. - updated field icon to look even worse then before. - random farmer and peasant count at the start. - the townspeople are no longer gluttons who consume all their food in one month. - added bob icri everitiem.
Basics ------------------------- - When the game starts, the town will have 2-5 peasant workers and 3-6 peasant farmers. - Fields produce 1-2 grain if there are peasant farmers in town. - Peasant workers work at bakeries where they turn 2 grain into 1 food supply. - The more farmers there are, the faster grain is produced. The same works for workers. - New farmers and workers arrive in town at the home. 3/5 chance they will be a farmer, 2/5 chance they will be a worker. - Each person needs 0.3 food supply per month, or they will starve. - Press b to start a fire in the field, stopping grain production. Additional Notes --------------------- - If there is more farmers than workers, farmers starve first, the same works vice versa. - If there is the same number of farmers and workers, workers starve first, as farmers will eat their own crops before selling them. - Fields can burn (not implemented yet) This makes them permanently inactive. - If there is 1 farmer/worker left, he/she can ration food while they wait for more people to move in (no food will be consumed). - Nobody will move in if all the workers and farmers starved. The town becomes a ghost town.
