Name: Tara Nebulas Meaning: In Latin, the word ‘nebula’ translates to ‘mist’. Metaphorically, Tara is shrouded by mist. No one who isn’t close to her can see what she is really feeling, and she tries not to be noticed and succeeds. Age: 16 Gender: Female Birthday: October 3rd (1852) Location: Was born in France, but her family moved to London when she was 10, and she has lived there ever since. Appearance: wavy dark brown hair, pale skin, grey-blue eyes, long lashes, thin, but not in a pretty way, 5’5. Has a "schoolgirl' fashion style, wearing skirts, leggings, and long sleeves. Personality: Used to be sweet and a social butterfly, but after her sister was seemingly murdered, and her parents sent her to boarding school she has become shy, moody, and a loner. She is easily annoyed, but rarely completely loses her temper, and can be flirtatious at times. Her personality type is ENFJ-T or INFJ-T. Extra: Tara is left-handed and speaks French fluently. Over the next few years, her family began to suffer financially, and finally, in the hopes of having Tara recover from the incident, her family sent her to an elite boarding school, which, despite mostly excelling at, she immediately despised, but there's nothing she can do... Hey, look who made another OC project. I tried a new style with some weird method of lighting- I kind of like it. This is also the first time I've ever drawn a 3/4 view of a face- whew, it's hard. Tara Nebulas is technically my first ever OC, and her design, personality, and backstory have changed a lot over time (I created her a year ago, I think). Originally, she was angsty and introverted for no reason (I was bad at character development back then, haha), her parents were extremely neglectful, and Tara was intended to be a villainous character who chafed against rules. Over time, I filled in the holes in her backstory and developed a reason for why she was so quiet, and I made her more relatable, with actual personality traits. Instead of being a rebel (of the chaotic alignment), I changed her so that her strict upbringing had made her respectful of rules and obedient, a stark contrast to her origins. I also changed the traits of her parents so that they weren't neglectful, but slightly overprotective of their daughter and having good intentions- but the wrong methods of trying to bring her out of her depression. Note that this is just the character's backstory and traits, and if I write a story about her, the genre will probably be paranormal. The character and art was created by me.
