Thank you so much @AztecRose for having this collab! Final Result: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/267878282/ A few years ago, I had to do a decades project at school, and I was in charge of 1980s fashion XD It's too bad that that was already taken, but the 70s were really fun to research! Possibly Not Accurate Research (here we go!): 1970s was a weird time fashion-wise. Women started wearing pants more, and let their hair sit naturally. Bright colors were popular during the early 70s, but then, people drifted towards more earthly colors, like black, white, and gray. (so i didn't really know what i was going to do) Other info: - Women started wearing pants more in the 1970s, it became more common - Tight fitting pants, low cut, or bell bottoms - Women started wearing their hair down naturally instead of putting it up -From observation, women's shoes had high platforms - Hats among genders were less common - Butterfly collars (inside) and cowl necks (thumbnail) were popular - Belts - Not shown in the project, but suits were popular among genders in the late 1970s - And just an observation from looking at images, XD Everything seemed to be really matchy-matchy, shown in the project - Patterns! (floral was popular) I hope you learned a little from this project, and if there's anything I got wrong, or need to fix, please tell me! XD I make a lot of mistakes, and as a small history project, I would love to have everything accurate. XP As for the drawing itself, I went with a sketchy line, because I really like the 'older' effect it gives to the piece, instead of smooth determined lines (could be laziness too but-). I hope it's alright if they don't have faces, I liked how it was just sort of a mannequin look along with just showing general outfits. Also, the patterns and colors may not be exactly correct, but I enjoyed looking at picture references! I hope you enjoy this art project, and I can't wait to see some of the other decades!
