Try to run away from the red one; you will get a higher score if the red cat runs more. The orange cat is controlled by the mouse-pointer. When you left-click and hold, it makes the orange cat move faster, but the score won't go up as fast as the normal speed. You will need the left-click and hold thing later in the game.
