Padû is based heavily on Spanish, grammatically and conceptually. I speak English, so there is a lot of influence from English as well. Padû has OSV typology (Object - Subject - Verb). for example: (A sandwich Bob ate.) Proper nouns are not altered. The only pronouns are: I, us, you/y'all, and he/she/they/it All English homonyms carry over (as long as they are the same part of speech) (that's why I said most ;) All stress falls on the penultimate syllable (syllable before last), except when there are less than 3 syllables. (Note: stress not very important.) Multiple negatives are used (emphatic negation like in Spanish).
