Slides: 200 (35 of whom are recycled from my Snake Lady) Time taken: 2 hours Welcome to the fourth installment in my "Animal Lady" collection! This time I present to you a Swan Lady, as suggested by @ThirdFactory. I mixed several different species together, but took the most inspiration from mute swans. Feel free to suggest your favorite animals! ABOUT THE DESIGN: I took the white plumage from mute swans, combined it with their dark eyes, orange beaks and black "masks". (Most swans have black around their eyes and beaks.) At first, I wanted to draw a real mask, but I didn't want to obscure the face, so I settled for a little bit of black face paint starting under the eye. Swans have round heads with flat feathers, which inspired the short stubbly hair. They also have very long necks, so I elongated our lady's neck a bit and emphasized it with the necklace. The fluffly white stuff around her shoulders is meant to be a feather boa, representing the wings. The collar and earrings are meant to resemble feathers, too. Lastly, the glitter is inspired by water droplets, because swans are aquatic birds, who dive for food, and the water glinting of them can look very beautiful.
