hi its me from 3/31/2021!! im resharing almost all of the old projects i had up!! (out of order) just for fun idk lol ♔♔♔ old description: Guess who finally drew something? Shore did! I did it fairly quickly, the main purpose was to get back in the swing of things, so the anatomy is really bad and everything was kind of rushed I used all of your advice and it really helped <3 you guys are the best! This is a drawing of Sparrow, my striped hyena-shark main OC. He can shapeshift for those of you who didn't know! Space / arrow keys to go through the slides 1 ) Sketch! Not much detail in the background, but i sketch out the whole character in lot detail. (tbh, i like the sketch of Sparrow better than the finished drawing ;v;) This is where I sketch out the drawing to get a main idea of it! 2 ) Lineart of character, and yes I know the anatomy is bad I was lazy and didn't fix it. I don't usually do background lineart, but it depends on the drawing. I do all the detail such as fur in here, and after I draw it over I go through and clean up some of the lines. 3 ) Colour the character! Using my painting brush and freckle brush for most of it. How I colour is I use the magic wand tool to select all outside areas, including the open areas such as in Sparrow's shark fin (open cuts) Then I inverse it, contract by 1, and begin colouring! No shading yet 4 ) Next I colour the background, adding small lighting but not all of it. 5 ) Lighting and shading on the background! Also extra details such as adjusting different colours, opacity, etc. The water looks really bad haha 6 ) Final product! I add the character and do more details, lighting, shading, and more. So that's the process of my drawings! I used FireAlpaca to draw this, using an old wacom bamboo drawing tablet ;v; First digital art in 8 months! Woo :') That's it I guess?
