Press space to start after clicking the green flag. You will need to press space every time you advance a level. Left rotates the crab anticlockwise. Right rotates the crab clockwise. Space will move the crab faster: 'turboing'. 1x, 2x and 3x multiply the crab's speed by that amount, including when turning and 'turboing'. For an extra challenge, try shift-clicking the green flag before playing: occasionally, the crab will teleport!
