This is a game about the cell membrane and its phospholipid double layer. -------------------------------------HOW-TO-PLAY----------------------------------- - Arrow keys or WASD to move - space to restart - move the mouse to aim - click to shoot vesicles - press v to toggle the score on and off - Run into a phospholipid to have that phospholipid become part of your cell membrane, and get bigger. - The prokaryotes will seek after you, and if they touch you you will lose phospholipids. Shoot vesicles at them to destroy them. - Beware. Vesicles have their own cell membrane, right? So, in this game, shooting a vesicle will cost you 3 phospholipids. Large cells are inefficient. However, cells need to be large enough to perform all the processes needed for life. This happens in the game like this -- how many phospholipids you lose per second all depends on how many phospholipids you currently have. For the purpose of the game, that sweet spot where you lose the least phospholipids per second is 25. The score is how many total phospholipids you have earned.
This is dedicated to Chef Floyardee (not a typo trust me). Also, I know there are not only 25 phospholipids in a cell. That is just for playability. All art is by me. DON'T PUT IN FULL SCREEN!!!! It lags a lot
