In 1650, the scholar Athanasius Kircher wrote of a hypothetical instrument called the 'cat piano'. It would be played by lining sixteen cats up in a row then pulling their tails to force them to meow. Thankfully, due to recent innovations in meow-recording technology, we no longer have to take such barbaric measures. Introducing The Incredible Cat Piano, an instrument containing the voices of kittens, African lions, and everything in between! (And all without harming a single cat's tail.) Become a true maestro with this amazing instrument, and don't forget to click around- there's a few extra sounds hidden in various places. ;)
This project is a remix of the fantastic Piano~ by Animecat33! Sounds come from soundbible.com. (Also, the idea of a cat piano is real, though there's no proof one was ever actually created. You can read about it on Wikipedia if you're in the mood for some truly weird history!)
