Welcome to the Late Cretaceous of North America! Your current photography assignment takes place just outside a coniferous forest, a common biome at the time. In this game, there's six animals (four dinosaurs, one insect, and one pterosaur) that you need to get pictures of. It may be difficult, but don't worry! Here's a few tips: -You may need to take multiple shots of the same animal to get the perfect photo for your book. Keep trying; you'll get it eventually! -Try to isolate the organism- make sure what you're trying to take a picture of is the only animal in frame. If you don't, it might look like you took a picture of something else! -If you want to see how many photos you've taken so far, open up your book. -If you want to find out more about one of the animals, take a picture of it and click on the photo in the book. It'll give you some text with facts about the creature in question. When you're done, click on the star for a special surprise! ;D
Inspired by Pokemon Snap and the project "take that photo" by @uH-- , which can be found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/170801758/ Pretty much all the information is from Wikipedia- I know, not the best source, but it's easily available, at least. Some of the proportions are off and the foreshortening is wonky, but I tried to draw the creatures in this game accurately. All of the art/coding is by me. The music is from the Scratch Library!
