Hey everyone! Whovian here. You may be wondering where I've been for the past few months, why there's a dragon over there, and why I haven't made any projects since October. To answer the first question, my time has been taken up by school, writing, and art! Even though I'm not spending time on Scratch, I'm still embarking on many creative endeavors, like writing short stories and drawing new characters. I do love Scratch - I just don't have the time for it anymore, nor the effort, really. (On weekends, I usually want to veg out for a while! xD) Second, I've been drawing a lot of dragons recently (seriously, I came up with a preschool show - with dragons! It's really adorable). I came across the cover for the eleventh Wings of Fire book this morning. The cover looks fantastic - but I'm not really that hyped for the new dragon species and book, to be honest. Inspired by the cover, I drew a fairy-flower-garden-dragon. Before anyone asks, those flowers are just a design on her scales. :) Finally, oh boy, have we been busy. Since October, my family has joined more extracurricular activities, done more things for our Church, and I personally have gotten a bit better at art. I cracked open a new sketchbook with loads of concepts for cartoons, dragons, Melody, and loads of MST3K fan art. Oh, and I can't forget Out of Nothing! Writing has proven to be both fun and challenging. I've begun a massive editing session again, which is also a re-writing session. It's quite daunting, but I think I can handle it! I just can't wait until the book is finished and out the door. You all will love it so much! Because of school and Out of Nothing, I still don't know how much time I'll spend on Scratch this year. Here's some guarantees: -An animation about a German Shepard named Basil, time travel, a pianoforte, and some poor driving skills will come out this year. -And finally, I'll try to answer as many comments as I possibly can. Oh, and just so you guys know: have any of you heard of George and Martha? It's an obscure cartoon based off these children's books from the 70s. It's really cute and is in reruns on Qubo. (Qubo is an over-the-air channel for those of you who have antenna TV. We cut the cord, so now we have antenna TV and streaming only.)
So, Scratchers, I really miss you! I have to give a shout out to you all who got me past 200 followers - my gosh! I know my projects aren't the best in the world, but 200 followers?! You all are the best! If you all want to chat, go ahead in the comments below! I'd love to talk about things I've been watching and reading over my break. Thanks for hanging in there! -Whovian Art is by me of a design I created! :) Please do not use it w/o my permission.
