These are just some pictures of my hometown during February. It never really gets to be wintry here, not in the traditional snowy sense. 1. The palm tree I sometimes sit at when I'm at school. 2. A tree with no leaves. 3. Some trees by the side of the road. I don't know what the yellow flowers are called, but they're blooming like mad and are very pretty. 4. These flowers think it's springtime because we're having a heat wave. They usually come up during February and have a very strong, sweet smell, meaning that my parents won't let me keep them in the house since the scent gets stronger as they wilt. 5. The mock orange tree in my garden. It's in full bloom this time of year (if you can call it full bloom as it doesn't produce flowers). 6. Some lemons off my tree. Our tree is a Meyer and produces fruit in the winter and in the summer. 7. A weed in my yard. It's sort of pretty, but I like the balance between the thorns and the delicate blooms, even if they are a pain to pull out. 8. Some buds on my orange tree. 9. The sunset. I've been trying to get some good pictures of our sunsets and this is one of the best so far.
