hi everyone so, if you’ve been around for the last couple of months, you should know that i’ve been completely inactive. i just disappeared without saying anything to anyone! i’m sorry for that, especially because just before that i shared this project [ I'm back! - https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/185168046/ ] in which i said i would be more active. and i wasn’t. this time it wasn’t because of school. here in south america, we’re in summer holidays, so i had plenty of free time to spend in scratch. so why didn’t i? let me explain. i thought that everything i did on scratch (art, coding, sharing stuff, etc) could be done on many other platforms. other platforms in which i could get followers easier, make more advanced stuff, maybe even make some money, and talk with older and more mature people. i spent the last three months trying out lots of different things in different places. one day i went back to scratch, just to see how things were going. i read some comments on my profile. i found myself scrolling to the bottom of the page because this is what i found: (i didn't include all comments because of the character limit) @foreveranauthor - please come back.... ;-; @theperythonwhisperer - i miss her so much..... :'( @-bw-gamergirl - happy scratchaversary! :D @ravenpuff3 - i loved your lion speed paint! it is so cool and colorful! @marshmallows - yay!! i am your 400th follower!! congratulations!! @quarksatom - you earned yourself one follower @tpaat - i'm yo new follower @cattoy - you are a very skilled artist! i would really appreciate it if you could help me with a project! - lol my 3 accounts are your 118th, 119th and 120th followers out of 359 - hi! i just shared my first project. i am nervous. but r_ravenclaw inspired me. thanks!! - oh my gosh i just realized i accidentally unfollowed you! *clicks follow button* - hi! you've won a prize in our fanfic contest! - hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! gave ya a follow! - ya partially inspired me to do a speedpaint xD - omg! so sorry! i thought i was already following you but i wasn't... 0_0 i followed you now though! - awesome projects! - happy b-day! - hey!! you changed your profile pic! i like it! - nice games - you should've won first place... (on the-marauders contest) - welcome to scratch :) and that's only on my profile, which is one year old. think about all the kind comments all around scratch. quite a lot, huh? i noticed that what i liked about scratch isn’t exactly the projects themselves. the best thing about scratch it’s its community. it’s all the support we give each other! mostly all other platforms lack a community like this one. they have rude comments, dislike buttons, and constantly make fun of each other. i initially thought it was because this is ‘a kids website’. i went to other sites because i thought they would be more ‘mature’. but i realized that even though scratchers are young, they are way more mature than many people all around the internet. and i’m proud to be one of them. thanks for reading this far btw. it means a lot. so, what now? i’m going to close art requests. sorry and any other person who requested, but i won’t be able to finish or make your requests. i’m just not motivated enough to make them. i’m really, really, sorry about that. i have a few things planned, which include a game, an amv and a map. i won’t make any promises though, because i may lose motivation. if i ever disappear again, i’m probably studying hard, on vacations, or my internet is broken, so don’t worry. i don’t think i could ever leave this amazing site, at least not in the near future. if your comment was featured here, thanks a lot! you’re part of the reason i’m still on scratch. your support means a lot to me. special thanks to and for noticing i was gone and asking me to come back. you gave me the motivation i needed to return. so thanks a lot, and scratch on!
