Okay! So I worked really hard for this and I hope I win one of them! I did allot for the dragon cat. The extra little doodles are like a ref sheet. The doodles took a full hour but for the real sketching it took 3 hours since I had to edit them allot. The linework took 2 hours to finish and the colors took 2 hours also. Then the details came around and the special effets, shading, highlights, etc., that took 4-5 hours. Overall this took me 11-12 hours. Mostly because I was using a laggy program and it was taking so long to get everything right. I only recently got an update so I don't have to use that laggy program again. You can see the concept of the fashionable mouse (with the trench coat and all) and the plant cat. I realised I didn't want to do them anymore but it's nice to show the sketches. I might finish them after this is over and edit them to look like the winner's and give it to them. So the dragon cat I did allot of changes but kept the same concept. He is still a dragon cat, he looks much older than the original concept, bigger horns, etc.. He's confident, arrogent, cocky, but sweet. A nervous wreck most of the time, but he wants to hide that. He wants a be a royal guard but he's smarter than he seems and gets more technical with things than he needs to. He wears his training armor most of the time. He wants to be like his dad, who's Captain of The Royal Guard and King called Chelford. His mother is a sweet, kind, supportive mother called Queen Diana and watches his proformence and improvments. She believes her son has potential to be Captain of the Royal Guard, only if he doesn't goof out. In the doodles you can see his training armor, head gear, tail rings, and gauntlets. The necklace and crown is something he just likes to wear. Now lets move on the the water dog. The water dog is easily flustered, a pure cinnamon role. He's sweet and kind and calm with too many soft spots to even count. He's a cuddler and opens up easily, but can be shy. He's a d o r a b l e .
