This is a project I've been working on for fun for a while. It's a list of what I think are the ten coolest bat families! "Families" is a term used for grouping similar kinds of animals together. It's right under "order". Bats belong to an order called Chiroptera, which is divided into eighteen families. Each family is divided into several "genera" (or genuses) and then each genus has several species. For example, the silver-haired bat belongs to the genus Lasionycteris, the family Vespertilionidae (vesper bats), and the order Chiroptera. In the future, I might add more families to the list, or I might add some information on each genus! SONG: Hedge Hog from the video game Animal Jam! :)
