Me and @Ramenraven ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *ahem* Why Lance McClain is the best character in Voltron. *At McDonalds* "I would like some McClain to go please" Lance is the best character in Voltron in my opinion, he's amazing holy heck. Most people think he's an immature goofball who flirts a lot. Well, the thing is, he is all three of those things. But that's not where his personality stops! He is bold, intelligent, and actually a pretty good leader. As seen in Season 5, Lance stood up for his fellow Paladins and gave some good ideas. Even while Shiro was going a little mad, even when he yelled at him, he stayed strong. He's stronger than most people give him credit for, and is an incredible part of the team. "We really do make a good team..." Where would the paladins be without him? Well, first off, things would be a lot more depressing. Who would be there to find the best in the worst situation? Who would be a total, utter goof that everyone secretly loves? Where would Hunk and Pidge be, without their friend and teammate, who they have grown fond of, from the Garrison? Or, even worse, what if Lance died? He isn't just the goof, but an amazing sharpshooter and fighter. He grew a bond not only with blue, but with red, who is considered the hardest to do so! "It's razzle-dazzle time!" Lance is extremely homesick, and really wants to prove himself. He misses earth and his family deeply, to the point where he CRIES MULTIPLE TIMES about it THAT WE SEE- yet he never complains. He never complains about having to fight, even though he is just a teenager that was forced into a RANDOM ROBOT LION with his hero, teammates, and his rival/boyfriend, forced to be a paladin of Voltron, and deal with all of the stress that goes along with it in ONE DAY, yet he never complains. He even starts naming his family in Season 5 as he cries. "Ya'know, Lance and Keith, neck and neck!" He is a good leader when Shiro is being an mean, he's supportive of his teammates, and will do anything to help. Even if it means pulling himself out of Voltron entirely, which is seen in Season 4(?) when he talks to Keith about Shiro coming back. (WITH THE GAY "LEAVE THE MATH TO PIDGE") *Lance dance™* All and all, Lance is the perfect mix of an amazing goofball and "touch my friends and you die" Sharpshooter. *Would you say it was love at first gLANCE?*
