I decided to start working on this after thinking about repeating squares at school. I drew a test and started working on it. I suppose that the script could be modified to use triangles/hexagons/other polygons with little effort. My main programming obstacle was that scratch cannot resize sprites below 1%, so I had to use a 1 pixel sprite to get the detail I wanted. Watching it grow is pretty satisfying.
