Enter an equation in either the form ax^2+bx+c=0 or just ax^2+bx+c. While you do have to have all three forms, if you want to just leave out a term replace the coefficient for that term with 0. It automatically simplifies the answers as much as possible (except for fractions, as that would require a lot more code and wouldn't do that much)
