I have redone the rules. RULES THAT YOU MUST READ TO GET A PART IN THIS MAP: > There's a ton of rules because I want this MAP to go well. Read them all or risk not getting in, having to redo your part, the art, or the coding, or just being kicked or replaced without warning. There's no codeword to get in, but there are rules so you don't get kicked out. > You don't have to provide links to your animations if you don't want to. I will check the animations on your profile. If you don't get into the MAP, your comment will be deleted. > Please wait until I approve you to start working. > DO NOT ANIMATE A SUNRISE UNLESS YOU HAVE PART 18. I DON'T WANT MORE THAN ONE SUNRISE. > Any part before 18 must be at night, any part after part 18 must be at sunrise. > If I don't respond for a long time and you lose interest in the MAP, please let me know. > You can remix this for fun, just make sure I know it's not a part in the MAP. If you want to host a MAP with this song, cut your own audio. Don't steal mine. > This is an anything MAP. You may use OCs or a fandom of your choice. > Please don't name your remix " 'English Town' - Anything MAP - OPEN remix ". Name it something like "Part (part) 'English Town'" or "English town part (part)". It makes it easier to see which part is which. > This is not a pallet, sketch or lineart MAP. Please color in your part, unless the character is literally transparent. (Note that Starclan cats aren't completely transparent if you are using the Warrior cats series.) > Please have characters show up in your part. If no characters show up, I will ask you to redo. > Do not overload your part with details. Make sure you can tell what's going on without watching the part a hundred times. Sometimes simple is better. > Do not steal art or you will be kicked from the MAP. If you know someone is stealing art, please alert me. > That being said, please don't use anyone else's OCs unless I SEE that you have permission from that person. > Do not say someone's part is bad or you will be kicked from the MAP. > You can have up to 2 parts depending on the length of the part. If you want any more parts or are wondering how many parts to take, please ask me. > You may do PMV or AMV. I recommend doing PMV for longer parts. > STRICTLY NO WORDS ON SCREEN, AT ALL. IF YOU ADD WORDS OR LYRICS, I WILL TAKE THEM OUT. IF I CAN’T, I WILL FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO DO YOUR PART. > Please do not add your own watermark. Watermarks are laggy. > You may use up to three sprites. > Please don't use the backdrop at all. No backdrop animating. Please put your backdrops in a separate sprite. >Do not use clones, sensing, operator, pen, data, or custom blocks. at all. I will ask you to redo the coding if you do. If you don't, I'll kick you. > Share WIPs of your part if possible. I like to see the process and WIPs let me know you are working. > Make sure your part flows well into the other parts if other parts are done. Think about how your part looks by itself and how it will look in the complete MAP. Try to effectively communicate the story without someone having to read the story behind your part. > You are allowed two broadcasts per part. They should be named something like 'Part__ A' and 'Part__ B'. If you don't need them, don't use them. >There is no codeword as I am sick of them and they don't work anyway. If you don't read the rules and then your part breaks them, you'll just be kicked. Believe me, I love kicking people. > I'd rather you use the software that's easiest for you to animate with. I honestly don't care what software you use as long as its size is 480 x 360 (the size of the scratch stage) and doesn't have a watermark > "If you aren't having fun, you aren't doing it right" > Don't say your part is lazy or bad if you tried your best. Your part is fine. I think it's fine. > Please, however, try your best. > There really is no deadline, but I'm gonna be reminding you to finish if you aren't done in two months > Vector mode is fine, but I’d rather you use bitmap. > Remix please, it’s easier to find. If you don't remix, make sure to link me to your wonderful part. > If at any time you need to drop out, it's okay! I understand. Please notify me as soon as possible. > Sorry for having a lot of rules, I just want to make sure this MAP doesn't lose its way. (hahaha) If you have any questions about the rules or need ideas, don't hesitate to ask. I don't bite! > If you skipped down here, go back up and read the rules. If you don't follow them, you'll have wasted everyone's time and all your effort just to get kicked out of the MAP.
