Spacebar!
Hi there! It's been a bit since I've made a new project, and this is kinda small (still haven't gotten around to scanning most of my recent drawings!), but I felt like I should post something. Most of these are done digitally, with the exception of 1 and 5, which I did in ballpoint pen, scanned, and cleaned up a little bit on Sketchbook Pro. Keep reading for rambly descriptions. :) 1. Princess Anna and her Valiant Pungent Reindeer King. Those two. Daaah. They're just SO FREAKIN' ADORABLE. <3 2. Super sketchy portrait thing. I was playing around with a new brush on GIMP, and I somehow managed to set the size and resolution about 10 times smaller than I usually do, so it turned out all blurry. :P This is what I cropped my newish icon from. 3-4. Quick expression practice for Sparrow (I think she might be in one of my other projects? I can't remember for sure). 5. Rapunzel and Flynn/Eugene (sort of goes with the Anna and Kristoff one, I guess?). Should have used a reference--Eugene's hair is really strange to draw, and I don't think I got it quite right. :-/ 6. Ruffnut from How To Train Your Dragon. Done to express my irritation at the fact that I am not old enough to enter the HTTYD 2 Sweepstakes contest thing they've got going on right now. :( 7. Sketches of another one of my characters. 8. The aforementioned character (though I drew her too skinny, gaah) with another character from the same story. This guy actually has a name, for once--Byron. Mostly to satisfy my strange sense of humor. See, he's got a curse on him where he's a lion by day (my story is loosely based off of the little-known fairytale "The Singing, Springing, Lark," which is sort of like a combination of "Beauty and the Beast" and "East of the Sun, West of the Moon"), so that makes him Byron the Lion, which, you know, kind of rhymes...I thought it was funny. Probably no one else does. Oh, hey, if you made it to the end, thanks for reading! I should have something more exciting soon. I've got some ideas I'm working on. If I were to do a sort of "Ask Me" project, would anyone be interested?
