Okay so I normally wouldn't talk about this subject because it has so many mixed opinions and could spread a lot of hate here, so I will most likely delete any hate that could be posted here. So, to save yourself the time and irritation, if you hate furries or somthing just go.. or at least share your opinion respectfully. So, all y'all are probably familiar with the Furry Fandom, and if you aren't here's the literal definition because I'm too lazy to write one myself(also because I don't want to offend anyone heh...): "The furry fandom is a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics. Examples of anthropomorphic attributes include exhibiting human intelligence and facial expressions, speaking, walking on two legs, and wearing clothes." Recently I've seen SO MUCH hate on the furry fandom and people who are furries, and I'm honestly confused why. To be honest everyone who hates on them are like "oH fuRrIes 'dO iT' wItH aNimAls aNd In AnImAl SuItS-" Just-- no. I'm not a furry myself, I feel like the suits would be too hot to be in, plus I don't have the skills to actually make a suit xDD but honestly, not even everyone in the furry fandom does 'do it.' Even if there are people who do, that doesn't define the entire fandom, only that part. Plus, why would you care? Just let people do whatever, don't we all do unique things? So just calm down, a'ight? It's not like they are hurting anyone, so why would it matter? We're all human, so furries are no different. Guys honestly it's a creative and interesting thing, stop hating on furries please. One again, it's not like they are people hurting anyone, also it's cool to see how imaginative and happy people get over this. Plus, I'm sure kids enjoy it as well! I mean, when I was younger, I remember going to some sort of festival and I remember a couple of furries that were hired to entertain the kids, and everyone LOVED them! The kids were so excited! It was so sweet. Guys, furries aren't evil or anything, they have a fandom! I mean, we all have our fandoms! If we're going by all logic here, cosplayers for their fandom(FNAF, Voltron, etc) should be considered bad? Like, furries are characters! Is it REALLY a crime to dress up/want to be a character you or another created? I don't think so. Basically all I'm asking is to chill out about hating on furries, please and thanks. There are a lot of popular, and unpopular scratchers that ARE furries and HAVE made a fursuit, and I have seen hatred on them JUST for that! Nothing is wrong with being a furry, and it's actually really cool to see the things people create. This is a pretty short rant compared to what I can produce, but I just want to get my opinion out.
