These are just some ideas for BAC pets! They will be called the Spreading Kindness Pets or something. Every month, Laura could do a bit of research on what that month is (April is Autism Awareness Month, October is Breat Cancer Awareness Month, etc.) and you would design a pet based on that. You would find out the color of that topic, and make the animal that color. And in a My Little Pony fashion, you would, in a darker shade of that color, draw a ribbon on their rear end. You can also do a quick search of the first name of someone who expierienced the topic being presented, and you can name the pet after them. And every month, you would put a link in the notes to a website where people can learn more about that topic, and by doing that you can spread awareness in a fun, easy way that will make a difference, since a lot of people view BAC. But here's the catch- the person who wants to adopt that pet will have to write a neat, well organized paragraph in the notes of their home on why they want that pet, and how they will use it to spread awareness. In that way, your efforts to support the cause will not be a waste. I hope you like my idea!! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!
This is why I named the pets what I did: Susan G.: (Breast Cancer, October) The Susan G. Comen Foundation Jack: (Autism, April) My brother has Autism, so I named it after him. Alex: (Leukimia Lymphoma, September) I did a search on Leukimia survivors, and the first person who came up was named Alex Whitney: (Brain Tumors, May) I did a search on Brain Tumor survivors and someone named Whitney came up. THANKS AGAIN!!
