OMG GUYS WAHT Left and right arrow keys to scroll through three different filters (there are more, but they were ugly) DISCLAIMER: I'm not trying to rub it in anyone's face or anything, I just was really amazed by myself that it actually worked.
Music: "Second Chance" by Shinedown Photos taken by my friend. Filters made by Snapchat I guess any new artists out there are like "lkdjf what I wanna be able to do dat" or "ughhhh yer such a show offfff" Well guess what, I'm gonna help you CAUSE DO YOU THINK I JUST STARTED DOING THIS? NO. HAVE YOU EVEN *SEEN* MY OLD DRAWINGS?! Okay, so, first what you're gonna wanna do is try to understand the fundamentals of art (I think that's what they're called). You can check out YouTube if you're 13+ (or if your parents enjoy supervising you and let you find tutorials underage), if not, then I'll just kinda tell you some basic garbage. You may have heard from more experienced artists or your art teacher that you have to use simple shapes as a sketch, and then draw finer details on top. For instance, a head might be more like a circle and a pentagon. Either way, try to understand the shapes of things, that boxes are cubical, balls are spherical, roofs are...triangular...prismical...? But instead of sketching a shaded prism or sphere or what the heck do I know, just sketch a rectangle or a circle, keep it simple, keep it 2D. And remember: DO NOT USE A STRAIGHT EDGE OR A RULER OR A PROTRACTOR WHEN DRAWING. Don't even use the straight line tool in digital painting!!! If you do, it'll make your drawings look machine-made and unnatural, rather than hand-drawn. And then it looks weird. Anyway, once you master simple shapes and whatnot, I guess you can kinda figure stuff out from here. Whatever really works for you. Just, if you wanna get REAL good, draw AT LEAST once a week (though I recommend every day, of course you can take breaks though). By the time you got all the basics covered, you'll be able to figure stuff out. Sorry if this didn't help you, I am not the best teacher... Anyways, if you want me to check out your stuff or give critique, just chuck the drawing in a project and slap the link down in the comments, I really don't care.
