Welcome to Star Wars Runner, a very hard, faced paced Star Wars themed runner game! The Ultimate Star Wars Runner Guide! Picking sides, characters, and planets: -Picking sides is very simple, choose the Empire if you want to fight for the dark side, and the Rebels if you want to fight for the good side. -Picking characters is also very simple, click the character you want to play as. Be sure to have your volume up, when you click a character they make a sound (please note that Darth Maul is quiet, and it takes a second for you to be able to hear his sound effect. The same thing happens with Han Solo and Chewbacca). -Picking planets is a tiny bit different. You can't "pick a planet". If you chose the Empire click the "To Hoth" button, and if you chose the Rebels click the "To Tatooine" button (if you wait a second before clicking on the planet you have to go to, speech bubbles will pop up that tell you the exact same thing I just did). Controls: -Right and left arrow keys to move. -Space to jump. Obstacles and things you collect: -Energy (the lightning bolts) increase your score so you can buy things from the shop (shop coming soon). Collect as much energy as you can! -Bullets are an obstacle and will hurt you and end the game. Avoid hitting them! -Spaceships are an obstacle and will also hurt you and end the game. Avoid hitting them! -Meteors (the gray circle shaped blobs) are an obstacle as well that will hurt you and end the game. Avoid hitting them! *NOTE: When the game starts you will have 3 seconds to prepare for the arrival of obstacles, so be ready and get as much energy as possible in that time (I know it's hard). Also, obstacles can come at you from any point and can be turned in any direction. The pause button: -When the game starts, you will see a white button reading "The Galactic Emporium", which is the shop. It isn't finished yet, but if you want to pause the game, click the button. Click the resume button to unpause the game. Cloud world record: -This part of the game is simple: if your score is higher than the current world record, it will become your score, leaving you the king/queen of the game until someone else beats your score! IT'S FINALLY OUT EVERYONE! AFTER MONTHS OF HARD WORK, STAR WARS RUNNER IS FINISHED (kind of)! I couldn't have done it without the following: -My friend @Destroyer1727 for help with some of the pause button code! -Google for the images of the Star Wars characters! -YouTube for the music! List of things I did myself: -I came up with the idea for the game. -I did all of the coding except for a tiny bit of the pause button. -I designed the buttons and thumbnail. UPDATES: 6/3/18- Initial release! In the future the following features will be added: the shop with upgrades, and possibly more characters, as well as (maybe) the ability to duck to avoid obstacles. The game will be in constant development, so check back often for more updates! MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE: Please note that the game will be unshared for maintenance sometime soon, so I can work on updating the game a bit. Don't worry, I'll reshare the game!
