Click the green flag to play. Click the red button to stop the game. Choose a difficulty: this will effect your health and money. The purple button mutes the music. You can hover over the cities and weapons to learn about them. Watch out for your resources: Money and Troops, they replenish over time. Watch out for your health: Your health is the bar with the american flag, when your unrest gets to high, your health will go down. You can see your unrest by clicking on the politics button. Ground: In the ground tab, you can select your weapons and send your troops to the front line. Air: In the air tab, you can order air strikes, and select bombs. You can also order helicopters to attack alerts. Airstrikes require a cool down after each shot, if they are shot down, you need to buy a new airplane. Politics: In the politics tab, you can increase your funds production, and troops production, and also manage your unrest. After a while, Richard Nixon will be elected, giving you new presidential abilities. Game Play: Every 5 minutes the Ho Chi Minh trail will flash and summon an alert, which in turn will start grinding down your heath. Send troops to alerts by clicking on them. If you get to the front line, or go to an alert, you must fight. Fight by pressing a and move with the arrow keys: [up]=jump [left] & [right]=movement [down]=crouch Some guns require you to crouch for them to work. If your gun breaks, press r and wait a little bit. The grenade and helicopter bullets require you to click for them to shoot. The grenade only has five uses, try to conserve them. Try not to kill civilians, because it will increase your unrest. The number on the left of the screen is your lives, and the number in the middle is the enemies lives. Winning a fight will bring down the enemies HP, and will remove alerts. Halfway through the game, special events like the Tet Offensive will happen, be prepared. The general will give you reports of what is going on. Good Luck!
