Yay Vela! I decided to draw her in a traditional Japanese kimono. The hair is supposed to be tied up in a bun, but I want to draw her galaxy hair. Also, her fan is supposed to be a moon in the night sky. Her kimono is a moon and moon flower print, and her sash(? not sure what to call it) has a little paw print. I decided to omit her wings and instead draw some floral illustrations in the background. All of the flowers are flowers that only bloom at night. I decided not color them because 1. I don't have enough greens and 2. I think it would distract the viewer's eyes. I think this is outfit she might wear for kamuhakari, meeting of all eight million gods in the Shinto religion. It happens during October, which is sometimes called the Month of No Gods. Although, her outfit is kind of plain... I was torn between Clair de Lune (means "moonlight") and Moonlight Sonata. In the end, I chose Clair de Lune because it's a little happier. But honestly, both songs would fit her. Speaking of, we need to find or compose a theme song! :D (Also, don't mind that pause in the beginning of Clair de Lune; it had a chord that I didn't recognize as being part of the song, and it bothered me so much, so I edited it out the best I could XD) Edit: The music is now of my own composition, "Moonflower Melody." Please do not use without my permission. I'm sorry it sounds so bad; it sounded so nice as a midi file, with beautiful violins and flutes, but the cheap converter I used made it sound, well, cheap. Oh well. Edit 2: I figured out how to export files directly from musescore to scratch so now they sound better! :D The character concept, design, and story belong to @willowflight and I. Only @willowflight and I can use this artwork. If you wish to use Vela, please give credit to @willowflight, or better yet, just ask her permission. Thanks!
