Well this guy's certainly something. I'm actually pretty fond of his design! BIO: Hex is... an odd Pokemon. Or, well, Pokemon-like creature, at least. Nobody's quite sure where he came from, he just kind of... showed up one day. As is to be expected from a Porygon-Z hybrid, his behavior is very erratic and hard to predict. He almost always seems to be in a good mood, and is very easily excited. Most of his time is either spent collecting food for TMR (a wonder how he got that job in the first place) or wandering around the region doing whatever it is he feels like doing. Hex also has a habit of being, for lack of a better word, theatrical. He makes dramatic entrances for no apparent reason, performs exaggerated gestures while speaking, and apparently never received the memo on what an 'indoor voice' is. He also tends to slip into using antiquated language when startled or upset, probably due to his strange past. Fortunately for those around him, he isn't a pure Porygon-Z, and his Sigilyph half keeps him at least a little more grounded in reality (and grounded in a more literal sense - it doesn't give him the ability to fly). Perhaps because of this, Hex is also very intelligent. Well, depending on your definition of intelligence. He almost never forgets anything, whether it's someone's name, facts about a berry, or important instructions, knows a wide array of information about various things in the world, and has impressive problem-solving skills. At the same time, he has the attention span of a Goldeen, is absolutely terrible at picking up on obvious hints and social cues, and just seems to be missing most of his common sense in general. Sort of a 'high intelligence but low wisdom' type of thing. Despite this, or maybe because of it, Hex remains an eternally upbeat and fiercely loyal Pokemon! BACKSTORY: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/226339667/ ^ Click there for the story ^ Hex was created when an experiment beneath a desert city 2000 years ago went wrong. An ordinary Sigilyph egg was placed into a strange machine by a Lycanroc named Alpha as part of an effort to 'upgrade' the Sigilyph into a Porygon hybrid. Unfortunately, an error in the device caused it to become a Porygon-Z hybrid instead. The process was a very long one, and the egg didn't hatch until just before the time of the RP. When it finally did, Hex emerged fully "programmed" as if he had been around for years. At first, he had no memory of his origin besides a tendency to behave strangely when in the desert. Eventually, though, a series of strange visions drove him to venture into the underground dungeon where the machine resided with the company of a Noibat named Lightwing () and an Arcanine-Lycanroc named Josie (). Together, they discovered the truth about Hex, met Alpha (who had been reduced to a Shedinja-Lycanroc husk) and destroyed the machine once and for all. Now, he's finally been able to relax... for the time being, anyway. ... Hex x Wall OTP
