"To create a photocopier, one must simply photocopy a photocopier." - @theultimateguy02 [WARNING: This game relies heavily on the "clone" block and many "forever" loops. You need a really beefy computer to handle the many scripts that will run in the project. To reduce unnecessary lag, do not play in fullscreen. And do not ever, I repeat, DO NOT EVER play in Turbo Mode. Your computer will thank you later.] Welcome to Photocopier Simulator 2018! The second annual photocopying contest begins right here, right now. Photocopy photocopiers and become the champion! This time with most likely a better trophy!* Attend now! *Chances of a better trophy from last year's competition will depend on if TheGamer501 ever feels like putting the work to make a better trophy. Which he probably won't. This game is also completely touchscreen-compatible! That's right folks, you can play this game without using your mouse or keyboard, but instead with your hands! =Credits= - @theultimateguy02 for the inspiration and his character. (I was the one who made the sprite though.) - Google Images for the photocopier. (no I can't find it there anymore) - My overactive imagination for the story. - @MathMathMath for a certain gliding script in the "simulator" sprite and the instruction slides. - SEGA for the play button sound. - Nintendo for MANY sound effects. I don't have enough room to list them all here. - @scratchU8 for the door close sound effect. - Google Images and Apple for the mouse sprite. - Mojang for the grass step sound. - KeyKrusher on freesound.org for the beep sound. - deraj on freesound.org for the pop sound. - @FUZZIE-WEASEL for the bouncing photocopier script. - SEGA for the drowning theme. - Nintendo for the font I used for the Game Over screen. The trick I used was just tracing over a .png file of the text with Scratch's vector tools. - Toby Fox's Undertale for two indescribable sounds. - @theultimateguy02's TobyQuest 2 for the "FIGHT!!" screen - and for multiple explosions. - peepholecircus on freesound.org for a laser sound. Yes, I credited absolutely everything. This is a rather big game, so I just wanted to thank all of the sources that provided the sounds, sprites and scripts used for this project. Thank you! =Music Credits= Hyrule Fields - TLoZ Ocarina of Time - Nintendo Nether2 - Minecraft: Story Mode - Telltale Games sans. - Undertale - Toby Fox A Lively Inn - Miitopia - Nintendo Yoshi Star Galaxy - Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Nintendo Fuzzy Time Mine - Super Mario 3D World - Nintendo Game Over! - New Super Mario Bros. But it's fun, right? - I wrote the script for this game since December 13th, 2017. One other minor change was added the day after. - I started working on this game since March 2018. - My OC saying "figure it out" was actually inspired from my mom. One day she said that and it got me kinda irritated. - This project was a real pain to make. At some point it totally bugged up, ruining the sprites and backdrops, with no way to fix them directly. I had no choice but to dig up an older edition of the project downloaded on the computer. Whee. - The main goal used to be 1 billion photocopiers! Yup! Nine zeros! I was a little too harsh, wasn't I? It's a good thing that I noticed how impossible it was while testing the game physics. - There used to be a feature in the game that allowed the field to reset when you pressed the R key, but it wasn't working correctly. Due to the complexity of programming of that feature, it was scrapped. - I don't know if I'll be able make another simulator for 2019, or if I even should. Judging by my reputation, I probably won't, but I don't like turning down a big opportunity when I get it. In fact, I've already brainstormed something completely bonkers. I just hope I don't overwork myself for the next simulator like I did for this one. ...Actually, I'll take a break and skip/rush 2019. If I make one at all, it's going to be purposefully bad to save time. This game alone has been a big stress-fest for me, but 2020 sounds like a fun number to make something big. Maybe. If you made it this far into the credits list, then wow, you must have some determination. Thanks for playing!
