Follow the story of Ashi, a young cat who sets out on a quest to save the home of her new friend, Pinku. *WILL NOT BE CONTINUED* If you're curious as to how this story was supposed to end, well... The 'tall creatures' Pinku mentions are actually humans. They would be using small robots to mine the crystals. And it would turn out that the robots are actually being led by Yoru himself, who would be wearing a suit that could transmit his body movements to the robots...or something like that. I'm not sure if he was being made to do this against his will or if we was on the side of the humans. Anyway, Ashi would reunite with her brother, and Pinku's home would no doubt be saved.
