STORY: In this classic story, a woman was attempted robbery by a teenage boy, who was caught red handed. The woman is known as Mrs. Buella Washington Jones, and the boy is known as Roger. Roger is then brought to Mrs. Jones's house, where other roomies are present. She then tells him to wash his face and feeds him. Afterwards, she teaches him that she once was young and could not get things that she "wanted." Roger knows that he could run away, but he did not want to be mistrusted again. Learning his lesson, Mrs. Jones gives him $10 to spend on his blue suede shoes, the original item he was planning to spend her money on.
