SAMPLE WRITING: Akta and Jak huried to the top of Nelcrian, in hopes of finally releasing the rain of gold to the village bellow. Finally, their journey would pay off. The village would be free of its debts and prosper once more! Jak, being a pricky, impatient racoon, leaped ahead of Akta. She ran faster, the wind and snow tugging at her red-violet skin and coat. Her horns ached, and her tail dragged in the snow, numb and motionless. "Jak! Quit running off without me." She called, between gasps of air. "I'll run fast as I please, wherever I please!" He responded in his usual snappy way, though he slowed as they came to a path of gold and let Akta catch up to him. A gaping entrance stood infront of them. A pair of yellow eyes glared at the two. Akta, for the first time during this travel, flicked her tail anxiously and cast a worried glance at Jak. His eyes reflected her own worry. Then, a low, rumbling voice echoed from the cave. "Who might this be?" The eyes looked over the pair, then a faint grunt sounded from behind it. "Veheme, they're probably just unfortunate travelers who came accross this by accident. Just scare them off." Jak yelled, "We won't leave until you give the village it's riches! Let the gold rain!" Then, a figure emerged from the mouth of the cave. Vibrant and contrasing against the snow was a dragon, with deep red scales. It had rings of light blue-green marked all over its body. The wings did not seem to be able to carry them far. Its eyes were a shocking gold. It was the guardian, blocking their entry into the cave. The bringer of fire, and gold. Akta pulled her spellbook from her bag slowly. Jak swiftly unsheathed his swords, which were considered long for racoons, but short for most humaniods. ...May they win the battle! made the DTA, so check that out aswell!
