Along time ago, there was a fierce dragon called Overlorde. He was cruel and vicious. All the other animals lived in fear of him. He was mad, and loved war. His bravest soldier was Kiro, a powerful wolf. Many loved Kiro. Chief among them was Lia, a beautiful winged lioness. Overlorde was in love with Lia, but she saw only his cruelty. And she was engaged to Kiro. So the king hatched a plan. He had been at war with the Falcon people for many moons. "Take the king of the Falcon people this note." he told Kiro. Kirk knew the king was insane, but didn't know it contained his death. For the letter said,"Kill the one who brings you this letter, and our war will be over." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A messenger, who had gone with Kiro, came back and told everyone want happened. Lia was very sad. The king tried to convince her to marry him. Then "She will not!" There, in the doorway. was Kiro, dripping sweat and covered in horrific wounds. He held up the bloodstained note. "Behold my king! I have lived long enough.. to reveal.. your treachery.." Kiro slumped to the ground. A gold crown slipped fro his paws. "The crown of the falcons!" shouted Overlorde happily. "My victory is complete!" Meanwhile, Lia had picked up the note and read it. She grabbed a nearby spear and raised it above the king. "Spare us of your madness!" she cried, and threw it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The king had a daughter named Jamie, who proved a much kinder ruler than her father. She elected brave Lia as her advisor, and paid respect to Kiro. To this day, Lia still guards over the realm, only now, side by side with her beloved Kiro.
