Name: StarDust (Previously Lulu) Gender: Female Species: Wolf Pack Name: The Starlins Ranks (Formerly): Pup, Hunter, Loner, Guardian Rank (Current): Leader --------------------------------------- Story: Lulu (StarDust) was born as the runt of her litter into a pack of wolves called "The Starlins." Her wolf pack wasn't any ordinary pack, it was one of the five mystery packs, one of which was called "The Starlins." Lulu was not only the runt of her pack, but the only pup born without a pelt of stars or any markings at all. Time moved on as her and her five sibling pups grew older. Lulu soon realized she didn't fit in with the others, for she was mocked everyday just for her pelt. Lulu's siblings cared for her very much and told her to never listen to the other wolves, no matter what they said. She would often receive remarks from the other wolves talking about her pelt. The remarks soon grew on her and she couldn't take them any longer. Full of determination, she then decided to embark on a quest to earn her place in her pack. Lulu, one night, left the pack during midnight and went straight into the wilderness to find her place. She wandered for hours and soon found a place that looked promising. She wished to continue her journey further, but she felt drained from her travels. Lying down to sleep, Lulu soon awoke to find a spirit lurking outside of her place of refuge. The figure told her to go to the Stone of Wonders, located down the ravine close to her. Getting up, she began to head for the ravine, feeling hopeful. Finally finding the ravine, the next thing Lulu began to do was find a way into the ravine. Seeing a couple of vines nearby, Lulu decided to climb down them. For a wolf, she was an excellent climber, for she often spent her time alone wandering around looking for things to do by herself, one of which climbing was one of the many things she enjoyed. After carefully climbing down the vines, Lulu soon found the Stone of Wonders. Carefully approaching the stone, Lulu first sniffed the stone, making sure it was safe. Gathering all of the courage she could find, Lulu lowered her head and touched the stone with her muzzle. And image of a river appeared to her, giving her a sense of where she was supposed to head next. After climbing back out of the ravine, Lulu then began her search for the river. She looked everywhere she could possibly go, until she approached a river that looked like the one she saw, only much more rapid. With her heart racing, Lulu decided to think over what she was about to do. Taking deep breaths Lulu finally calmed down and decided that she would trust the stone and take a faithful swim. Putting her paw in the water, she summoned all of her courage once again and dipped herself in the water. She used all of her strength to stay in place, despite the rapids which were going against her will. Her strength overcome by the rapids, Lulu was then carried downstream. Struggling to stay above the water, Lulu quickly began to look for a way out of the water. She spotted a sturdy branch and used the remnants of her strength to paddle towards it. Once she was close enough to the branch, she took a hold of it using her paws. Pulling herself up onto the slippery branch, Lulu carefully walked towards the land on which the branch was connected to. Exhausted, Lulu curled herself up into a ball and began to sleep. Lulu woke up, her body ached but she was ready to head home. She then noticed she was no longer near the river, but in the cave she had found earlier during her travels. Finding this discovery strange, she shook off her thoughts and began to head home. Once she reached home, her entire pack looked in her direction. The group began to walk towards her. In front of the pack were her parents and her siblings. Seeing her family, Lulu raced towards them embracing them, telling them how much she missed home. Little did Lulu know that she had been so focused on coming home, she didn't even notice that she now had markings of the stars. Not only did she have the marking of the stars on her paws, tail, back, and ear, but she had a stripe on her neck, front legs, and on her other ear, the markings of a true alpha. Only the bravest and the most hopeful wolves earn the markings of an alpha. The current alpha began to approach her, taking notice of her new markings. Congratulating Lulu, the alpha then pronounced Lulu's new name, Stardust. The pack of wolves, all cheerfully then shouted "StarDust, StarDust, StarDust!" StarDust had earned her true place in the pack. Several years later, StarDust had become the alpha of the Starlins. She was a noble leader who led with great courage and with fairness to all. Each night she would thank the spirit for showing her to believe and for showing her to never give up no matter how hard the tasks ahead are, for anyone is possibly of achieving their dreams, as long as they continue to believe.
