This game is a story, recounting the tales of NASA's 2047 Space Station Experiment. You are one of the first civilians to be launched into space, and things go on. This game does have levels, and it is just for enjoyment, so you are allowed to play out of order, however, you will not have the same experience as if you play them in order. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, there are several aspects to this game, so I will be splitting the instructions up into parts. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART ONE: CUTSCENES (Optional Read) Cutscenes in this game play automatically and change automatically. They are usually a background with an auto-changing feature. It will skip to the next piece of dialogue even if you are not ready, so be prepared to listen. Sometimes, there will be a small animation in the background. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART TWO: NAVIGATION (Probably Should Read) After a cutscene, there will be gameplay. In this, you get to walk around and interact with your surroundings. To move, use the arrow keys. There are boundaries as to where you can go. Press space to interact with an object or go to the next room. Typically, you follow the path and then interact to get to the next room. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART THREE: COMBAT (MUST READ) After you reach an object looking alien (only exception being level 4), you can press space to interact (in level 4 you still press space to interact), and you will enter a fight. As soon as you do, the background will change to a dark blue color, and you will engage in a fight. There are currently Two types of fight methods. One is Dots. Dots is simply, click the white dot, avoid the red. Maze is you must navigate your mouse through a maze, and get to one of four yellow spaces. Once you reach the yellow space, click, and it will do damage. (The maze may change!) Every time you touch the edges, your fight score is reduced. The damage is dealt to the enemy, and the damage is dealt to you. Then it resets, and you must get a fight score again. The enemies do get harder as you progress, so beware! If you lose, you must push the green flag to try again. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART FOUR: FLIGHT (MUST READ) Starting in the third level, you will experience flight. Flight is a game mechanic in which you use the left and right arrow keys to fly around. Your view will change every time you push it, but you can only move every one second. When you find what you are looking for, push space to begin flying there. (SPOILER ALERT: Flight begins when you get in the escape pod) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PART FIVE: COMPLETION (Probably Should Read) When you complete a level, you will get a black screen with white lettering: "Level Complete!" This means you have finished the level successfully. I attempted one, but got too frustrated to continue, and this style project has been in my head ever since.
