Use the arrow keys to pan around this bleak, endless, uninteresting plane of solid colors. My friend just joined Scratch and was toying around with the idea of a scrolling background. He just had the background change when a sprite hit the side of the stage, but I thought to myself, "This is ugly. I'm going to make it more fluid." Then I set about doing so. Without further ado, I present a simple way to create a scrolling background. The code works great, but I didn't make any fancy graphics, so enjoy the solid colors. Just use your imagination I guess. :P As always with this kind of thing, feel free to use this in your own projects. It shouldn't be too hard to integrate into your own projects. Only take the sprite. The code on the backdrop is not important and is also unfeaturable because I hate fun. (The sprite itself includes no hacked blocks, so it's safe.)
