Sorry if the manager stops! It's most likely because you clicked the food again after the manager was on! Just click the picture and try to become a hudreder (if thats even a thing lol!) !! Stuff will unlock based off money! And I think this is a glitch and I don't know but if you hire a manager and you say yes even though you don't have the money, don't do that.
