He's the son of a random baseball player, Riker Wood, and his mother is a Filipino movie actress, Fiona Vergara. He has an illness we shall call the Demon's cough, which is caused when much has happened in the victim's life and apparently the captain of the Kidateers has the same illness but tries to hide it with say pills or something.
