Look, I'm feeling terrible now. The night after I came back from the party, I put the Ouija board under my bed and haven't touched it since. After the release of Broadcast #3, however, I felt compelled to pull it out once more. There were a set of instructions that I failed to notice. We had followed the first three okay. 1. Move the glass around the board to 'warm up'. 2. Ask if anyone is there 3. Be polite. There was something else that we hadn't noticed. We were so eager to escape the room. 4. Remember to say goodbye, because the spirit can't leave this world without permission. I got the worst chills when I read that! Turns out you have to ask for permission to be able to leave the spirit's conversation, or else they'll haunt you until you do so. And contacting the spirit world this way is pretty dangerous according to the internet- it's like letting strangers into your house for a chat. I'm terrified now! I showed D the stuff we missed, and he freaked out. We pulled it out as fast as possible, put our hands on the glass and quickly told the spirit that we were terrible sorry for trapping her in the human world for so long, and that she was free to go. There was a clock on the wall which I was watching, we knelt there on the floor for eight minutes without the glass moving. I think she must have been pretty mad with us. Hopefully she left the conversation, seeing as six months is a long time. But about that attic incident... I'm a little disturbed about the fact that me and D got locked there, and then were able to leave freely upon contacting the spirit. I'm trying to think of an explanation. Maybe our older sibling was playing a prank on us, and hid once we tried to open the door. We didn't search the room- just ran right out. I'm not going to chuck the Ouija board right away though- it might come in useful. Also... I don't know if this is relevant or not, but I decided to tell you anyway. I've been getting night terrors lately, and I haven't had them in years. Maybe it's got something to do with the supernatural stuff that's being going on... -Rosie
