excuse my terrible handwriting [or should I say mousewriting?] in the thumbnail rip What am I doing, opening two contests at the same time x3 Ackk about a week ago I had 50+ followers and now I have 70+ :00 thank you aLL now it's 100+ nyehh ✢ // WHAT IS AN AESTHETIC ADOPTS? // ✢ In an aesthetic adopts, a series of pictures is put together to form a central idea; an aesthetic. There are usually two or more aesthetics which the host provides. The people who wish to enter then have to make their own character based on the aesthetic given. Like all contests, the aesthetic adopts closes after a certain amount of time/entries. [The host also decides whether people are allowed to keep their characters regardless of winning or not] // space for the aesthetics // ✢ // RULES // ✢ 1. Entry must be a remix of the project as usual =3 2. The character you make is completely up to you! Humans, felines, canines, anthros, ferals, birds, and the 7.77 million other species of animals are all open ^w^ [including mythical and your own!] 3. Please tell me if you're entering [no codeword this time ;3] 4. Write a bio and a backstory! I'd love to see more about your character. Also, if you wish, you can even explain the interpretations behind the pictures ^w^ 5. No puttting down others or yourself ;w;; and no comments that make a person feel uncomfortable [i.e. "Your entry is so much better than mine! Yours is definitely going to win!" etc.] 6. Be creative! You don't necessarily have to stuff everything you see in the aesthetic into your character; I actually would prefer more ambiguous interpretations ;3 7. You are allowed to keep your characters even if you don't win; as an author and poet I would hate to tear away characters from their creators :"> 8. Ok so Im just saying that I did this to practice making and writing OCs and I kind of forgot to make this until last minute so its not the best. ----------------------------------QUINN------------------------------------- Quinn is a girl. She lives in the forest and she's not very smart. Her favorite thing to do is watch the fun set because she says that "watching a sunset is like watching when the sun gives the moon its time to shine." Quinn's favorite things (items) are leaves and seeds, she collects them in her little bag. She found the necklace that she wares on the ground one day and thought it was an omen from the gods (not very smart, it was actually just some necklace that fell of a little girl named Alex). Quinn is a happy, hyper, playful kind of girl. ------------------------------ BACKSTORY -------------------------------- Quinn lives under a very leafy tree with her mom and dad. She used to always climb the tree so she could look for other animals. Her dad would hunt for them and her mom would always make Quinn things made of flowers ( flower crowns, the other necklace she wares, the tail thing). Quinn lives a pretty normal life. But one time when she was about 4. She came back to her den and didn't see her parents. Her dad was out hunting and her mom was looking for flowers. So Quinn thought that the only reasonable explanation for thing was that her parents died. So she decided the since she "was on her one" that she would try to catch some food. As she was looking for her food she found her mom and dad. Fast forward a bit and now Quinn hunts with her dad and sometimes makes things with her mom. She has a big collection of leaves and seeds and has befriended a bird named Gulf. Quinn and Gulf like to collect together. ------------------------------------- Gulf ------------------------------------ Gulf is your average male bird. He is a very smart bird, unlike Quinn. So sometimes he gets frustrated with her. Theres not very much to him other than that, he's kind of just a bird. But Quinns dad does sometimes try to eat him.
