1) Click the green flag to generate! Do this as many times as you need, but think about the idea you generated before starting over. 2) Think of ways to build on the idea generated. If you got "You eat a painting," think of why this may have happened. Maybe the painting was of a doughnut, and your OC though it looked delicious and attempted to eat it. 3) If you want, spend time looking at the background. It may spark an idea based on something you see in the shapes, like if you see two people playing ping-pong. The background also triggers your brain to think, as opposed to a plain white background.
This project combines simplicity with philosophy to help you come up with animation ideas. Introducing, the Idea-Matic 3000! Tell me in the comments if the Idea-Matic 3000 succeeds with helping you come up with animation ideas. If not, feel free to experiment and make your own animation idea generator,* and post a link to it in the comments. * The survival of animation on Scratch depends on the ability to come up with ideas. -------------------- May 22, 2018: Shared.
