Exerpt thingy? There was an eerie clanging in the house. Whether it was cutlery or bells or both was impossible to tell, as both seemed present- in fact, all of the clanging noises of the earth seemed to be present, ringing together to signify something. Two parents and an old man stood in a hallway. The parents were distinguishable. While their basic looks were fairly ordinary, their eyes were so unnatural it was almost hypnotising. Both of them were a glowing violet blue, like a pale indigo. If the parents were strange, it was nothing to the man who was with them. He was dressed entirely in a bright shade of orange that only just matched his ruffled red hair. His eyes were hidden behind dark orange glasses, and he had a long red beard that reached almost to his knees. He was also tiny- Both of the parents had to look down at him. The two parents went by the names of Téléa and Spíco Borealis. "So it's happening." said Téléa, clutching something that looked like a basket tightly by the handle. Her blonde hair blew gracefully in the wind. It was impossible to tell what was creating the wind. Everything was creating wind, and it was nearly impossible to see. "Yes." said the orange man. "And not surprisingly to you." He smiled. He didn't seem to grasp entirely what was going on. Téléa looked at him, and handed him the basket. "We'll have to go. You take Aurora. One last thing..." She took her bronze locket off, and put it gently inside the baskets with Aurora. "There. By the way... We think she's magicless. She hasn't shown a single sign yet." Téléa said this a little sadly. She turned around to face the door. Spíco looked at the Orange man too. He had dark brown hair that suited him perfectly. Only his eyes looked out of place. "Make sure to save the Three. Wherever they are." he said. He fixed the orange man with a stern glare that said, quite plainly, 'or else'. "Spíco, really do you think Aurora here is magicless? Téléa, you'd better hear this too." Téléa looked back at them, her eyes swimming with tears. "What is it you wish to tell us before we ride into death?" she said, partly sarcastically. She was bitter because of the sheer horribleness of the fate she had come to. "It is not death that you ride into. Only controlment. And I doubt very much that Aurora here is magicless. Why, a Borealis without magic is like a bird without wings... You're the strongest magical family I know. And you'll be freed, I assure you." The house was still raging with the force of the gale, and at this point Téléa was almost knocked over. If she had not smashed into the sink, she would have been done for there and then. "And... what has happened to my cousin? Antó Australis?" asked Spíco. The orange man grinned. Téléa, picking herself up, stared at him. "Antó? Why, him and his Southern Lights have already been taken. You still remain." "I hate it when you refer to us as that. We really do prefer Borealis and Australis." said Spíco. "Promise you'll look after Aurora." said Téléa, one last time. She looked up at the Orange Man pleadingly. "Tell her we're not dead. We're just waiting for her. In the Northern Lights. Tell her." "I shall see it my duty to do so. Now you must go, before something terrible happens." Téléa nodded, and opened the door that lead outside of the house. Aurora woke up and saw only her mother and father stride out of the house, hand in hand, then melting into the gale before the Orange Man put her to sleep again. Almost immediately, the gale stopped, and the house's creaking noises were louder than ever. The man holding Aurora ran outside and saw the house collapse into rubble. He stood there for a few seconds, collecting memories into his head, then trudged off towards his castle, where he knew Aurora would be safe until she needed to be a part of this. One of his nurses ran up to him, and took Aurora's basket. "They have both of the auroras?" she asked. "Until this one is of age, yes. If they want control of the fabrics of the universe, they're doing well. They have both of the auroras now. All they need are the spirits. But who knows how they'll find them?" He walked into the room and put the locket around Aurora's neck. Why, the quest had already begun. (Yeah this thing is ancient but I'm writing the thing it comes from now)
