This was designed to introduce the beginning concepts of trigonometry to students. Press the green flag to start. The triangle ABC has a right angle A. Use the sliders to change angle C (which changes angle B so they are still complementary) and the length of the hypotenuse. The triangle's dimensions are solved for you. Use the black boxes to cover up information so that, when teaching, you can set up a problem and then ask students to find the hidden dimension. To more precisely set the hypotenuse length, press the B key on your keyboard, then type in the measurement and press "enter". To more precisely set the angle C, press the C key on your keyboard. Angle measures are in degrees.
