I still love this place, its amazing! theres just a few reasons I'd like to share with everyone on why Im (not really) leaving. > This site is a site for creating games and anything to do with coding -- For an artist/animator like me you'd understand how Scratch really destroys the quality of basically everything. > Its hard to get noticed -- Im no attention seeker but this really bothers me, on Scratch its SUPER hard to get all your hard work noticed, its just not worth it. Say you made this piece of art for instance, it took you so long to make and you posted it with full pride and confidence hoping that it'll get a lot of appreciation, but after a few weeks, only a few people has viewed it. In other sites in my opinion is much easier to get your work noticed by the right people, The ST here just isn't active and doesn't bother to view projects. > Its hard to get featured -- Yup, every artist/animator knows this. They only feature about 2% animation/art and the other are just games, tutorials, and other things that this site really is for. In my opinion the Scratch Team should give us artists a chance. > Its a place of particular art -- In my country people only respect realistic art, well to me, they USUALLY (not always) only front page blockshade art and realistic art > You can't feature anything yourself -- Its hard to get featured here, and the only way to get featured is for someone apart from you to request a feature and wait for it to be seen by a ST member. But the problem is, not every feature request gets seen, and most scratchers don't know how to request a feature. And what if you're unpopular and you made something worth featuring but you don't get much views on it so all your work was just for discourage and nothing. > It discourages me -- this site used to encourage me but things are different today.
