The Trisagion Hymn, (read in Greek by me,) is an ancient song that declares the glory of God. "Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us." "Agios O Theos, Agios Ischyros, Agios Athanatos, eleison imas." It is immediately followed by the Lord's Prayer, (also in Greek.) The Resurrectional Troparion is a hymn sung during most Sunday liturgies, and my sister was kind enough to aid me in singing it. "From the heights thou didst descend, O compassionate One, then thou didst submit to the three day burial; that thou might deliver us from passion; thou art our life, and our Resurrection, O Lord, glory to thee."
